The End of the World Was Nice

by The Grumpy GameDev

Choose how to spend twenty seconds before a meteor arrives. Walk toward a person, a dog, cake, the sky or a phone and hold the interaction key to finish an activity. A tiny reflective game about choosing a few moments, with a short recap after each attempt.

A starting approach

Get close to the person or object before holding Space or Z; pressing the key from a distance did not complete an activity in our check. Pick a nearby goal first, then use R after the recap to try a different route. The in-game text is English.

Our play check

Desktop check on 24 October 2026: used arrow keys and held Space through multiple twenty-second attempts. One completed recap explicitly recorded the hug, and R restarted the game. A later attempt visibly dimmed both the hug and dog labels. We did not verify all five activities or mobile controls.
